Weekly, I’ll post what I’ve been digging music-wise. I have to say the upcoming Eternal Tapestry LP on Thrill Jockey along with the recent Ottawa reissue are a good place to start. I recommend listening to Eternal Tapestry on the way to work and Ottawa on the way out. Or just Ottawa all the time.

Best Coast

Painted Ship designed and developed a website to promote and stream the entire Best Coast album with password encryption.

Also created was a flash banner series sharing the same visual image.

Poulin + Morris

Poulin + Morris, a Soho-based design agency, came to Painted Ship to create a strategy and develop a flash-based website for their company. Initial look and feel was created in-house at Poulin + Morris.

We took their screens and built a dynamic, XML-driven site which is fully trackable via Google Analytics.

Painted Ship continues to promote Poulin + Morris updates and news via quarterly e-blasts.

The Sword

The Sword requested a complete revamp of their website to accomplish two main goals. First, the graphics need to be closely tied in with their new album and second, they wanted the ability to make site updates in house.

Painted Ship completely designed all site screens along with related e-blasts and online promotions.

Swordofdoom.com runs on WordPress technology allowing for easy integration of news, commerce, tour dates, media such as video, or even common social network functions such as Twitter and Flickr.

BLTa

Painted Ship developed a multi-function, WordPress/Flash site for the architectural firm, BLTa.

Initial site design was created by Poulin + Morris while all programming and development was done at Painted Ship. The original vision of the site was built in Flash but as the clients needs changed we slowly began integrating more blogging functionality to allow for more direct involvement and customization by BLTa.

Painted Ship continues to update the site with new functionality and features.

Black Ryder

A mini-site to promote and stream the entire Black Ryder album with password encryption. Visitors also can stream video.
